The Bangalore plant manufactures both automatic and power-shift hauling transmission for domestic and global off-highway enterprises. It follows a cellular manufacturing approach, which supports a broad product mix and a faster response. Another plant, located in the Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ), Chennai is a completely export oriented unit caters to the global demands for precision-engineered large housings and parts.
Velocity Industries in-house research and development capabilities in India and Texas have made it the only Indian player with the ability to supply full transmission aggregates and components to the off-highway industry to the leading OEMs like BEML, Caterpillar, Eaton, Telcon, L&T Komatsu and Godrej, covering a wide range of applications including loaders, Dump trucks, forklifts, Railway OHE cars, cranes and many more.
